Northern Lights Sex Therapy Education

BRAND strategy, identity & web design

Challenge

Diana’s professional education had grown under Allura Academy, an extension of her existing Allura Sex Therapy brand. As the academy expanded, the shared name made it difficult for the education business to establish its own identity and clearly communicate that it served clinicians across Canada—not therapy clients. She needed a new name, brand and website that could stand confidently on its own.

Solution

Together, we rebranded Allura Academy as Northern Lights: a distinct Canadian brand for sex therapy education. We developed the strategy, visual identity and Squarespace website, reorganizing the academy’s existing content into clear pathways for foundational education, self-paced programs, live training and supervision while course enrolment continued through Thinkific.

Strategy

Positioning Northern Lights as a distinctly Canadian home for sex therapy education guided every decision. The messaging addresses gaps in Canadian clinical training, while the website helps clinicians identify the learning path that fits their experience and goals. A flexible system of repeatable icons creates consistency and recognition across the website, course materials, social media and future marketing.

Project Scope

Brand strategy / Visual identity / Modular icon system / Website strategy / Content structure / Squarespace design and development / Search optimization / Content migration and redirects / Course branding

Outcome

Northern Lights now stands independently from Allura Sex Therapy while carrying forward Diana’s established expertise and reputation. The new brand provides one clear home for education, supervision and professional community, with a flexible foundation that can grow alongside future programs and advanced training.
